Unfortunately any other alert will cancel your alarm, at least on my iPhone. Once I woke up a minute before my alarm went off once and grabbed my phone, watched the alarm go off and then immediately got an alert from my security camera which stopped the alarm. Follow the harness and remove several of the connectors, and plug the stock harness back into itself. There are a couple of T taps you'll have to remove aswell. But you *shouldn't* need to do any cutting. 99% of the alarm harness is spliced into the factory wiring with connectors, so it's pretty tough to mess up.
Hello Mike, If you've enabled notifications on the lock screen, you'd be able to dismiss the alarm once it goes off by just clicking on the Dismiss button. As a workaround, you mute the alarm by simply pressing the Fn key + the mute button in your keyboard. Note: Remember to re-enable your audio after. Let us know if you have other concerns.
